BETH LINDLEY

Throughout her career as a Social Worker, the expressive arts and a yoga practice have been an enduring source of restoration and self-care.  Both have offered ways to reconnect with herself and rebalance, while offering care and support to others.  What began as a personal interest, ultimately became a source of wisdom, resilience, and self-compassion that she continues to rely on today.

Beth practiced yoga for many years and completed her 200-hour YTT with Lisa Faremouth-Weber of Heaven Meets Earth Yoga in Evanston, Illinois in 2016, to deepen her personal practice.  YTT training with Northern Life Yoga has deepened her understanding of yoga as a practice of connection, curiosity and presence. Through Allie’s leadership and the generosity of instructors at Northern Life, they have created a space for self-reflection, kindness and respect for all, wherever we are on our journey.

As a teacher, Beth hopes to offer classes that are welcoming, accessible, and inclusive. Drawing on her background and honoring a trauma-informed perspective, she invites students to honor their own bodies, choices, and experiences.  Teaching yoga is a natural extension of her lifelong commitment to healing, creativity, and human connection.
