Our comprehensive curriculum is designed to support your growth as both a practitioner and an aspiring teacher. Guided by a dedicated team of experienced Northern Life Yoga instructors, you’ll explore a wide range of essential topics, including:
Meditation and mindfulness techniques to cultivate presence and clarity
Asana (yoga poses) with an emphasis on alignment, sequencing, and functional movement
Pranayama (breathwork) practices to support vitality and emotional balance
Anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics to deepen your understanding of how the body moves and functions
Yoga history, philosophy, and ethics to connect you with the roots and deeper meaning of yoga beyond the mat
Each component is thoughtfully woven together to provide a rich, well-rounded learning experience that empowers you to teach with confidence—or simply deepen your own practice with insight and intention.

Our hybrid program blends virtual training and homework assignments with group sessions, allowing you to progress at your own rhythm with a flexible schedule. With in-person sessions held over 12 weekends from September 2025 to February 2026, you'll have the opportunity to connect with fellow trainees and deepen your practice under the guidance of our expert instructors.

This training is led by Allie Brawley, a 500-hour certified yoga instructor with well-rounded experience shaped by yoga studies in San Francisco, Vancouver, and Kripalu’s School of Yoga, and a personal practice rooted in the vibrant yoga communities of New York, Boston, and San Francisco.
Alongside Allie, a skilled team of Northern Life Yoga instructors and wellness practitioners will guide your journey. With diverse backgrounds in asana, anatomy, philosophy, meditation, and energy work, our team-taught approach offers a rich blend of perspectives and teaching styles. This collaborative model ensures that you receive well-rounded instruction, personalized support, and the tools to deepen your practice and grow with confidence—whether you aspire to teach or simply want to explore yoga more fully.
